Letter from Gordon Hulme Ltd.
August 7, 2014
Dear Valued Clients/Friends;
Re: Important Notice – Change of Insurance Broker
I am writing to advise that we will be closing our Beacon Avenue office, at the end of the day on, August 29th. Harbord Insurance Services have acquired the insurance business of Gordon Hulme Ltd., and to ensure policyholders do not experience any lapse in coverage or service we will be transferring all policies and supporting information to Harbord Insurance effective August 30th.
In choosing a successor Insurance Brokerage, I wanted to know that our insurance clients would be looked after in a professional and caring way, by a local Sidney broker, and I have every confidence that will be the case. Harbord is a name you probably already know for insurance. They are conveniently located on 5th Street, behind Capital Iron with ample and easily accessible parking. Harbord is a full-service insurance brokerage engaged in the sale of all types of insurance including home insurance, business, and commercial insurance, marine, auto, and travel insurance. The staff are professional and knowledgeable and look forward to meeting you.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for the privilege of having been allowed to look after your insurance business. Some of you have been clients of ours for more than the 36 years that I have been at Gordon Hulme Ltd., and that is not something I have ever taken for granted. These days it seems that the long lasting business relationships are rare, and I am truly thankful for every year of my career with Gordon Hulme Ltd. I hope that going forward you will build the same relationship of trust and confidence with the staff at Harbord Insurance, as I have enjoyed with you.
After August 29th, your queries should be directed to Harbord where I know you will be taken care of. I’ll actually be transferring my insurance license to Harbord effective August 30th and, although I won’t beekeeping “office hours”, I’ll be available to Harbord staff on an ongoing basis to answer questions they may have about client files. And if, at any time, you would like to consult with me regarding your account, just ask for me at Harbord and the staff will put us in touch.
We’re still open for business as usual at Gordon Hulme Ltd. for the next few weeks and so I invite you to contact me here, up to and including August 29th, for your insurance needs or with any questions you may have about the change outlined in this letter. Than you again, for the pleasure of dealing with you these past years.
With Kind Regards,
Holly Critchison, Pres.
